You are facing one of the most special moments in your life. You made a proposal to your loved one or you said – YES. The euphoria is unsteady, thousands of thoughts pass through your head. Тhe first conversations with the partner about the wedding began later. In recent years you have inevitably been part of various wedding celebrations of your friends. In each of these weddings there was something charming and unusual, something special that inspired you. You have imagined what would happen in your day sometime in the future …
And here comes the time to organize the thoughts in your head and start the organization of the dream day!
Where should we start?
This is a question with many possible answers. It would be right to set your priorities first. And in most cases they are: location, rituals, photography and videography team, host and DJ, wedding agency, date, number of guests, various surprises for guests and others. Of all the above, determining the experience is the choice of location. For that reason, usually future newlyweds start the organization from there. In turn, this leads to early bookings in this segment. In recent years, more and more couples have chosen destinations that are not necessarily related to their hometowns. By doing so, they have the opportunity to reach a location that best suits their ideas and desires. In most cases, this is related to the estimation of a slightly larger budget because of more complex logistics than in the hometown.
After this basic choice, all other attending professional units that are usually part of the wedding day are a matter of desire and priority of the couple. However, the majority of the future newlyweds hire photography and videography teams and even for some they are the top priority. In this line of thought, it is difficult to answer how long in advance is best to hire the teams. This is strictly individual. However, if it is important for you to engage specifically selected photographers and videographers, we advise you to do so in parallel with booking a location. As professionals, it is our responsibility to keep the memory of that day, in which you have put a lot of effort, emotions and resources. If you really want to have a nice memory of this day, it’s a good idea to get a team that works in sync with your feelings of vision and aesthetics.
From our experience, we found that over 50% of couples booked our team between 6 and 12 months before the event. Of course, there is a possibility that your chosen teams to be free even 2-3 months before the wedding.
