One of the most exciting events in 2022 for us was our trip to Scotland for Vicky and Ryan’s wedding. They contacted us back in early 2020. As soon as they told us their plans we were sure we wanted to be a part of this event. Their energy as a couple is amazing. She is Bulgarian and he is Scottish and they were determined that their wedding would unite and celebrate these two cultures.
The event took place at the picturesque old Rowallan Castle, located in near Glasgow. The day began with the preparations. Vicky and her bridesmaids were in the “new” castle (an approximately 300 year old building), while Ryan and his friends were getting ready in the medieval castle. After playing football and having a few beers, the guys put on their suits and headed to the ceremony site in front of the medieval castle. Meanwhile, Vicky and her father were on their way to the ritual. After the ceremony, the guests were invited to a cocktail reception in the “new” castle, where the wedding program continued into the evening.
